Oops! And, Liquor!

My personal laptop is MIA for a few days - so, until I lovingly nurse it back to health, I will be posting Twitter-like topical questions, pictures, and stuff to make you think (and hopefully comment).

For example: Colt 45's have long been a stereotypical staple of black society. Now, this may sound crazy, but I actually hadn't seen one up close until I walked past an empty bottle in my apartment building's hallway. The SIZE of it! I haven't looked up the proof yet, but it made me think critically about all of those phony black liquor advertisements featured in certain movies - like Bamboozled's "Da Bomb", or Black Dynamite's "Anaconda Malt Liquor", around which the entire plot was set. I remember in that movie, the long-winded conclusion they arrived at in the diner scene (where, coincidentally, Roscoe finally gets the idea to open a chicken and waffle restaurant) was that "Anaconda Malt Liquor gives you a 'Little Richie'!". Yeah, so what these oversized bottles do sort of...scream...is overcompensation, much?
